Built in 1752, once an opulent private home, Holmewood Hall now provides an impressive backdrop for weddings. Set amongst fourteen acres of parkland, this enchanting mansion has been sensitively restored by the present owners, British Sugar PLC, to preserve its original features. The interior is studded with historic details such as ornate marble and carved fireplaces, a grand staircase and oak panelling throughout. At almost every turn you are presented with views over formal gardens with sweeping lawns with mature trees presenting excellent photo opportunities for your wedding day.
Unlike some venues, Holmewood Hall prefers to tailor your wedding to your requirements. To this end they place great emphasis on helping you create an individual experience whether it is for 400 or 40 guests.
